Which Large Language Models (LLMs) are available for use within Astah?

Supported Large Language Models (LLMs) and API configuration details.

Astah (version 11 and later) supports a variety of external Large Language Models (LLMs) to power the AI Chat Copilot and MCP Server features.

Currently, you can integrate Astah with the following AI providers:

  • OpenAI
  • Claude
  • Gemini
  • OpenAI-compatible services (Custom third-party endpoints or local models)

⚠️ Important Note: Astah does not provide a built-in or pre-funded AI service. To utilize these features, you must choose your preferred AI service provider, obtain an API key directly from them, and configure it within your local Astah installation.
