How to Use an Astah License Provided by Your University
Accessing and applying your Faculty Site License
When your university provides an Astah license, it is typically issued as a Faculty Site License. Rather than a personal serial key, you are usually given a license file (.XML or .lic) that authorizes your use of the software under the university's agreement.
How to Apply the University License
To use the license, you must first install Astah and then point the application to the license file provided by your instructor.

Open Astah.

Navigate to Help > License.

Click the Set License Key button.

Select the license file provided by your school.
Important Notes
The file name you receive will differ based on which Astah product you are using. Please ensure you have the correct file for your target product:
